ASTM E3347/E3347M

THEATRE Protectives ballistic shields are among the first in the industry to earn the more stringent ASTM verification — a new standard that requires significantly enhanced ballistic protection for the user. ASTM testing requires at least 19 shots to pass, including a 3-shot cluster.

NIJ 0101.08 Certification

Attain the grade of protection you need. The THEATRE Protectives lineup includes NIJ 0108.01 rifle-rated and handgun-rated shields. Refer to the product specifications for a breakdown of threat-level protection.

Indefatigable

THEATRE Protectives ballistic shields offer rugged durability in a lightweight package. Bumper edge guards (for rifle shields) or reinforced edge trim (for handgun shields) offer wear-and-tear and drop protection.

With most shields available on the market today, replacing the viewport requires replacing the entire shield. Not so with THEATRE Protectives rifle-rated shields. If the glass gets scratched, we can provide a replacement viewport. (Note: Handgun-rated shields do not feature a replaceable viewport.)

Where are your ballistic shields made?

Our USA-made ballistic shields are manufactured by Leading Technology Composites (LTC) in Wichita, Kansas. THEATRE Protectives is a brand of LTC.

Do you sell ballistic shields to individuals/civilians?

No. We sell only to law enforcement and approved distributors.

What is the warranty?

Warranty information is found in our Care & Use Guide.

What happens if the shield is cracked, damaged or otherwise compromised?

You should discontinue use of the shield and contact LTC or an authorized representative. We can instruct you how/whether to send the shield to us for inspection and repair or replacement. The Care & Use Guide has more information.
